DNA
Westway Building II is a ten
story, Class "A" corporate office building, located at Clay
Road and the West Sam Houston Parkway. Designed by Kirksey
Architects, the building facade is a combination of
high performance glass, with architectural precast accents.
Building entries feature elegant landscaping and
integral lighting, leading tenants and visitors into high
ceilinged (14'-0") main lobby, with stone, stainless steel
and glass accents. Natural light is allowed in
through the north and south entries. A tenant patio,
including water gardens and seating areas is located on the north side of the building. High speed
elevators, with 9'-0" doors and ceilings, as well as stone and stainless steel
finishes provide access to tenant floors. Restrooms
are accessible from both sides of the core, and include ceramic tile floors and walls, with stone lavatory
counters and infrared sensing plumbing fixtures.
Building II is LEED®
CS Certified
at the Silver level, and includes water conserving irrigation and plumbing
systems, energy saving building envelope, low emitting
materials, and MERV 13 air filtration for improved air
quality. A large percentage of the building materials used
was recycled, and all building systems are
properly commissioned to insure that the planned
efficiencies are properly in place.
Building II includes
240,501 SF NRA, with a typical floor plan containing 25,012
SF NRA. Parking (structured) is available at a ratio of
4/1,000 SF NRA. Building II was completed in early
January 2009, and is anchored by GE Oil & Gas.

DNA
Westway Building III is a
three story, Class "A" office building, located one block
east of the West Sam Houston Parkway and Clay Road, on
Westway Park Boulevard. Designed by Kirksey Architects, the
building is a "sister" to DNA Westway Buildings I
& II. It has a tilt-up
concrete exterior structure, as well as high performance
glass and curtain wall systems to match those at DNA
Westway Building II. The main lobby is accented with granite
floors and walls and stainless steel and glass accents. A
two story overlook located at the main building entry allows abundant natural light into the lobby. High speed
electric elevators, with 9'-0" doors and ceilings, as
well as stone and
stainless steel finishes provide access to tenant
floors. Restrooms are accessible from both sides of the
core, and include ceramic tile floors and walls, with
stone lavatory counters and infrared sensing plumbing
fixtures.
Building III also features
under floor air distribution,
allowing higher standard ceilings (10'-0") in tenant areas, as well
as highly efficient and flexible floor plates. The air
distribution system also provides a cleaner, quieter
system, and gives each user control over their own
environment using adjustable floor diffusers. Building III
also includes floor by floor and wing by wing
sub-metering of electrical power, allowing precise
measurement of power use for each floor of each wing,
including air conditioning energy.
Building
III is LEED® CS Certified
GOLD,
and includes water conserving irrigation and plumbing
systems, energy saving building envelope, low emitting
materials, and MERV 13 air filtration for improved air
quality. A large percentage of the building materials used
were recycled (almost to 90% of the steel used in
Building I was recycled), and all building systems were
properly commissioned to insure that the planned
efficiencies are properly in place.
Building III includes
181,813 SF NRA, with a typical floor plan containing
approximately 61,000 SF NRA. Parking is available at a ratio
of 5/1,000 SF NRA, including 440 spaces in a parking
structure. Building III was completed in December 2008.
